Blink-182 has announced its biggest world tour to date, along with new music to be released in 2023.
The US band will return on a major tour bringing together Mark Hobbs, Tom DeLong and Travis Parker for the first time in 10 years.
In the UK and Ireland, the band will visit locations in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin during September and October 2023.
The multi-platinum award-winning group will also play its Latin American premieres, along with stops in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand from March 2023 to February 2024.
The group will also be releasing their new single “Edging” on Friday, October 14. It’s the first time in a decade that Hoppus, DeLonge, and Barker have been together in the studio.
The tour announcement also features numerous festival appearances in Latin America and the United States, including the critically acclaimed Lollapalooza.
Tickets go on sale Monday, October 17th at 10:00 a.m. local time here.
Ahead of the news, DeLonge hinted that he might have joined Blink-182, sparking rumors among fans that something was afoot. The co-leader originally left the band in 2015 to spend more time with his family.
DeLong’s place was taken by Matt Skippa. However, a few months ago Skipa stated that he was unsure if he was still part of the band.
“Your guess is as good as mine,” Skiba wrote in response to a fan on Instagram, who questioned why there was no “Blink content” on his profile.
Regardless, I am very proud and grateful for my time with the Blink-182. We’ll see … “.
