The 2022 elections, marked by the violent feud between Luis Inacio Lula da Silva and Jair Bolsonaro for the presidency, It also brought up a large list of celebrities who sought public office.

However, the vast majority of them failed to be elected to federal or state office of Representatives. Among the defeated names, the list includes personalities who tried public life for the first time, such as Antonia Fontenelli and Andre Gonçalves, as well as famous people previously unsuccessfully elected in the new attempt, such as Alexandre Fruta and Veronica Costa.
