Small details mean a lot. Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral brought together members of the British royal family and more than 400 people, including royalty and state leaders from around the world, in Westminster Abbey, England.
But, among the many tributes, one caught my eye: Some members of the royal family used symbolic accessoriesAs a way to honor the king.

Meghan Markle wears earrings given by the Queen
Meghan Markle also paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth with accessories. The Duchess of Sussex wore the pearl and diamond earrings that the Queen gave her. She had already worn the jewel during the King’s burial last Wednesday, 14/9, at Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall. Watch the play below! 👇

During her reign, Queen Elizabeth II had a tradition of gifting members of her family with jewelry and Meghan was no different. The piece was given to her in 2018 to celebrate their first solo trip together. Shortly after Meghan married Prince Harry.
