PIS / PASEP Calendar 2022/2023: Are payments already confirmed?

According to the PIS/PASEP receipt rules, every person who has a formal contract in a job for more than 30 days in the respective base year is entitled to withdraw. However, not only this. Here are the general requirements for receiving payments in 2023:

  • First, receiving up to a minimum wage in 2021;
  • have performed any remunerated activity for at least 30 days, in 2021;
  • Duly updated data by the employer in RAIS / e-Social;
  • Finally, to be registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years.

It is important to emphasize that PIS / PASEP payments always occur in the year following the year in which the citizen worked. Therefore, workers who performed their activities in 2021 must receive benefit payments in that year.

However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, payments have been delayed. In this way, the PIS / PASEP payment for those who worked in 2021, which was supposed to take place in 2022, was for 2023. Now, there are many questions about how the PIS / PASEP payment schedule 2022-2023 will work.

It is important to note that the 2021 base year payments for PIS / Pasep Dates have not yet been determined. Everything indicates that the calendar should start in the first quarter of next year.

At this point, it is important to stress that workers who meet all the requirements to receive PIS/Pasep payments will be able to receive the payments in 2023.
