Coach Vitor Pereira was completely honest on Monday when he spoke about Corinthians preparing for a duel against Internacional, Which ended last Sunday 2-2. During the Brasil Futebol Expo, in the midst of his lecture, the coach assumed an error in the players’ training load, which, according to him, left the team very tired.
“I, this week, did a really big bullshit. Today, reviewing the game, I clearly realized that with my desire to train, to improve my team, I trained with the intensity that I liked, and not for long, But I gave them a load they weren’t used toThe Portuguese coach opened.
“We arrived at the match tired and we struggled in the second half. My responsibility. With the experience I have, but with that desire to improve the dynamics. But I reviewed the match and clearly realized that we came through the match tired.”
Vítor Pereira’s analysis proves plausible when the game script is revealed. After Corinthians went on to win 2-1 in the first half, the team was unable to maintain its supremacy in the final stage and conceded a tie.
In his next duel, the Corinthians coach will have a free week to train again. Timão will return to the field next Sunday, at 4pm, when he faces Sao Paulo in a classic match in Morumbi.
