Two days after defeating Atlético-Go and securing a place in the Copa del Rey semi-final, Corinthians will learn about the details of the dispute at this point. On Friday, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) will pull the tariffs at 11am (Brasilia time).
Matches have already been pre-selected, which means Corinthians already know their opponent once they qualify: Timão will face Fluminense. On the other side flamingo and Sao Paulo.
Both semifinals feature teams from the same cities, which requires caution when drawing so that the city does not receive two matches at the same time. Thus, before the draw, CBF will explain the dynamics chosen to determine the relationships between the two clash.
The first semi-final will take place between August 24 and 25, while the second half will take place on September 14 and 15. The draw to be made will determine the order of field orders, after which it will remain only to determine the times of matches.
Corinthians reached the semi-finals after eliminating Atletico Go in the quarter-finals. Before that, Timao left behind Santos and Portuguesa from Rio de Janeiro.
