A new addition to Cruzeiro for the season sequel, Juan Cristian was announced on Monday afternoon (15/8). On loan from Azuriz, from Paraná, the 21-year-old forward will remain at Toca da Raposa II until December 2023.
Juan’s name was published in the daily (BID) newsletter of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), even before the official announcement of the Minas Gerais club. Therefore, it already fulfills the legal playing conditions.
Raposa reports that the athlete has already been fired to start training. He will officially present himself on Tuesday (16/8), when the Celestial team presents itself once again to start preparing for the duel with Grmio, for the 25th round of the Second Division of the Brazilian Championship.
Juan Christian’s career
Juan did part of his training at Athletico-PR, a team where he played for Jaj. In 2020, he moved to Azuriz, from Baran, a club of the company that had left-back Marcelo as one of the investors.
Already in 2021, the striker wore the shirt of the ambitious team (under 23) from Grmio on 27 occasions – and scored three goals. Tricolor was the champion of the Brazilian championship in this category.
Juan was last in Hamriyah in the United Arab Emirates.
The young player is Cruzeiro’s eighth signing in the middle of the year. Before him, defender Los Felipe was announced; left-back Marquinhos Cipriano; right-back Wesley Gasolina; steering wheel Pablo Sills; Stocking Shay and the Strikers Bruno Rodriguez and Lincoln.
