In one round from the end of the group stage, the Copa Sudamericana qualified for the Round of 16: Sao Paulo, who secured the leadership of Group D by defeating Jorge Wilstermann 3-0, on Thursday, in Morumbi.
The draw for matches will be on May 27, at 1:00 pm (Brazilian time), at an event in Asuncion (Paraguay). The next stage matches will be held in the two weeks of June 29 and July 6.

The champions of each group from South America and the third place in each group will play the Libertadores in the Round of 16. There will be two different pots in the lottery. Therefore, whoever comes first in the South American group will necessarily face a team from the Libertadores in the round of 16.
