The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim It was one of the biggest hits of the last decade and still has a community very dedicated to getting the most out of the game. A few months ago, the player was known on Reddit as Aurelia Riddell Impressed by Bethesda’s recreation of his face:

As you might guess, the game’s default character generator is not able to achieve results like this. To be able to recreate people from the real world with a good level of realism, you need to use mods. Some mods add more options in the character builder, while others improve the display of certain elements like skin and eyes.
A couple of days ago, AureliaRiddle posted a new version of her character, along with the recreations of her dad (who also plays):

AureliaRiddle shared tips on how to get these results. “Take two selfies: one in front of your face and one in profile,” she says. “You can use a mirror, but in my experience, taking a picture is easier. Try to keep a neutral expression, as if you were taking a photo for your passport.”
You will only be looking at half of the face, so you have to choose which side of the face you want to use. “[…] Since toys can only have perfectly symmetrical faces, this step is very important.”
Something also helps with printing the image, folding the paper in half so that it is easy to refer to as you work on the character.
“If you’re trying to recreate yourself and start to feel a little uncomfortable about the similarities, you’re almost done,” adds Aurelia Riddle.
“Incurable thinker. Food aficionado. Subtly charming alcohol scholar. Pop culture advocate.”
