It was very strange to see only the new Land Rover Defender with a gasoline engine in Brazil, like a small passenger car, forbidden to take fuel oil.
Now the problem has been resolved with new versions with the D300 diesel for the 90 and 110 models, which also offer MHEV technology to reduce consumption and CO2 emissions.

Using an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and the usual all-wheel drive engine, the New Defender diesel goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7/7.0 seconds (90/110) and reaches a top speed of 191 km/h.
Weighing in at 2,303 kg to 2,471 kg, the Defender 2023 has five seats in the 90 and seven in the 110, and now makes use of micro-hybrid technology, which consists of an AC motor/alternator that turns the engine on and off automatically.
It also regenerates energy gained from decelerations. In addition to the new mechanisms, Defender Diesel introduces the new X and X-Dynamic Editions, as well as the InControl Telematics multimedia
