American singer Mariah Carey, Sunday (27), turns 53 years old. Several people dedicated a message of affection to the singer, including Anitta, who is a fan of the “Christmas Queen”.
In the salutation, Anita congratulated Maria in English, which was later corrected by the American artist. Anita’s text:
Happy birthday to my queen (and now my girlfriend) Mariah Carey.

Anita was not wrong about spending her English on social media. What has happened is that when saying “Happy Birthday,” Maria prefers to use the term “anniversary,” which is aimed at public events, institutions, and other modalities that do not belong to people.
Correcting Anita, Maria still calls the Brazilian singer a “friend.” This term that comes from “Queen of Christmas” isn’t for many, no.
The Queen of Christmas meets a girl from Rio
With the international focus on Anitta, “Girl From Rio” has already appeared surrounded by many artists from abroad. It is not news to anyone that the singer is honored all over the world with every work he performs.
As a result of the recognition, it is only natural that there will be an engagement with other foreign artists. With every Anitta appearance with someone on the other side, fans of the singer feel proud of the levels ‘Girl From Rio’ has reached.
With Christmas 2019 approaching, Maria posted a video on Instagram in the presence of Anitta. The Artists’ Meeting was held in Aspen, USA. Upon request, the American singer asked Anitta to send a message in Portuguese. “Girl From Rio”, who was an outright fan of Mariah, without pretending to get used to her, was clearly excited to be there.
“I’m having the best day of my life,” the Brazilian commented.
Maria was very excited about the meeting between her and the Brazilian and released: “I don’t understand Portuguese, but I love it. It’s beautiful! Nice to meet you here at Christmas.”
“Prone to fits of apathy. Problem solver. Twitter buff. Wannabe music advocate.”
