Under the motto “Creating a Future for Healthy Aging”, the British Embassy in Lisbon and Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lispova have organized the third edition of the “Healthy Aging Portugal – United Kingdom” Forum on March 15, 2022.
According to the organizing committee, it will be an event that will “allow the sharing of experiences, best practices and ideas of Portuguese and British speakers aimed at enhancing their response to the challenges of aging society”.
“How to guarantee the quality of life of the aging population?” And “What will the aging process look like in 2030?” Two main issues will be discussed at the event.
Paul McCurry of the Greater Manchester Aging Hub, Antonio Carvalho, Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture and Urban Science, Polytechnico de Milano, David Sinclair, International Center for Longevity – Alexandre Galache, President of the International Center for Longevity in England and Brazil. Two sessions.
The program includes two lectures by Atalberto Campos Fernandez, former Minister of Health and Sarah Harper, Oxford Institute of Population Aging.
The inaugural session will be attended by Santa Gaza presenter Edmundo Martinho and UK Ambassador to Portugal Christopher St.
The event will take place in the morning in the extraction room of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa in Largo Trindade Coelho.
