The Ilum School of Science, of the National Center for Research on Energy and Materials (CNPEM), has released the list of approved candidates in the selection process for its first semester. A list of 40 approved names is available on the website.
The selection process received a total of 943 applications, with a list of 24 candidates for each vacancy. Among those approved are students from all regions of the country, and the majority (22) are female.
Registration must take place between 3 and 6 March, online or in person at the School Secretary. Classes start at 7. The Illume Science, Technology and Innovation course is free, recognized by MEC and awarded the maximum degree by the Anísio Teixeira National Institute for Educational Studies and Research (Inep).
All those approved will receive free housing, food, and transportation to the Ilum and CNPEM campuses. Students who wish to occupy kitchenettes from the third, when the registration period begins. Students will also receive, at the beginning of the course, a laptop computer with all the software needed for their academic routine.
The school
Ilum offers a three-year, full-time Bachelor of Science, Technology and Innovation degree.
The course provides a scientific basis, in an interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary manner, immersion from the first semester of CNPEM.
The curriculum covers topics in the fields of life sciences, materials science, mathematical languages and humanities, for the integral formation of its students.
