Willian remembers winning the Votorantim Cup and congratulates Corinthians Sub-15 on the title

President Dulio Montero Alves was not the only one to congratulate the Corinthians U-15 team for winning the Futurantem Cup on Sunday morning. Midfielder Willian, shirt number 10 from Timao, also sent a special message to the children.

“Speak up guys U15s! I would like to congratulate you on winning the Futurantem Cup. I also had the honor of winning this tournament in 2003 so God bless you all. Thanks!” Post the video. Corinth – see below.

In the current version, Timão beat Santos with two goals scored in the first half of the match by Kawa and Caragua. In 2003, when Willian was champion, Corinthians also won the match with a score of 2-0 in the final.

19 years ago, he sent Timao Cruzeiro in the semi-finals, while Futurantim beat Internacional to reach the final. Willian wasn’t the only player known by Phil to share this feat. Goalkeeper Danilo Fernandez, now at Internacional, was in the winning squad.

It is worth noting that Corinthians is a three-time Futurantem Cup champion. Titles were won in 2003, 2004 (against Internacional) and 2022.
