Former BBB Gilberto Nogueira, better known as Gil do Vigor, who is studying a postdoctoral degree in economics in the United States, said social programs and education are among the tools that should be used for Brazil’s growth. During his participation in the Altas Horas program, on TV Globo, Saturday evening (8), the specialist analyzed the current political scenario in the country, which is uncertain for him, which is negatively reflected on the nation’s economy.

“As an economist, I know that things need to be done, measures taken. For example, the state has been overspending, so we need to control spending. But are we going to control spending by cutting education? But education is the foundation of everything. Gill asked: “If you reduce education, how will the country be able to innovate?”
He added, “If the political scenario in Brazil does not change, if the confidence of Brazilians in the people in their position to represent us does not change, then things will not move forward.”
Also according to the previous BBB, social programs should not end. “And it doesn’t end with social programmes. When we socialize ourselves and end poverty, we eliminate hunger, then, regardless of GDP and growth, Brazil will get better,” emphasized the Northeast man, as the audience praised him.
