Azul Linhas Aéreas announced today, November 30, that it will expand its operations in the city of Juazeiro do Norte, in the interior of Ceará. From March 14, the city will have daily connections to Fortaleza, the state capital.
Flights will run from Monday to Saturday, departing from Juazeiro at 00:05 and landing in Fortaleza at 01:05. On the way back, take off will be at 4:15 AM, landing at 5:15 AM at the destination. Operations will be carried out with an Embraer E-195, with a capacity of 118 passengers.
“This is another step we are taking towards strengthening our network for the next year. We are increasingly connecting inner cities with capital cities, reducing the distance between people and giving greater impetus to economic development,” says Vitor Silva, Azul’s Director of Network Planning.
Currently, Juazeiro do Norte has an average of three daily flights by Azul to Guarulhos, Recife and Campinas. On the other hand, the city of Fortaleza has about ten connections per day to Recife, Campinas, Convience/BH and Belem. The resumption of the route, which was completed before the outbreak of the epidemic, strengthens the internal communication in the state of Ceará and also with others. Destinations are already working.
According to Azul, tickets are on sale from today with prices starting at R$212.69 in all the company’s official channels.
