the game
First time
The first half was very intense and in complete control by Corinthians. Scoring high goals and letting Santos create practically nothing, Sylvinho’s side had the best chances to open the scoring.
With five minutes, Gabriel gave a nice shot for the Grand Prix, but the ball passed a little and the shirt 38 tried to cover the Santos goalkeeper, but did not succeed. Soon, the young attacking midfielder received a pass from Wagner and kicked it poorly to defend Joao Paulo.
Scoring high, Corinthians did not allow Santos to pass the midfield and Sylvinho’s team reached almost 70% possession of the ball. In the 13th minute, Roger Guedes scored with Joe, dribbled one of the defenders around and watched Joao Paulo hit the first goal. In the corner, Jill nodded faintly.
In a good team move by Renato Augusto with Du Queiroz, the GP picked it up on the edge of the area and decided to shoot, when the best option was Fagner. Soon, the 23rd shirt went up again and Joe’s cross, but was cut by Luiz Felipe before the ball reached the Timão striker.
Throughout the first half, Corinthians followed the same offensive stance. Scoring a goal up front and not letting Santos breathe, Roger Guedes had another chance to score, after a superb pass from Renato Augusto. Close to the small area, the 123 shirt was stopped in good defense by Joao Paulo.
In one of the few times Santos crossed the midfield, Gabriel Pereira stole the ball and formed a good counter-attack with De Queiroz and Renato Augusto. When it came to getting the number 10, the GP kicked poorly towards the opposing goalkeeper.
42 minutes passed when Santos attacked for the first time. Felipe Jonathan passed from Wagner and crossed through Diego Tardelli’s header, who surrendered without danger and far from the goal.
In the 45th minute, Timão created the last goal chance. Wagner started from the right side of the field in a beautiful one-man play and the ball landed in front of Joe. Without any signs, the striker surrendered with a bad leg and the shot crossed the goal.
again
Because of a good first half, Corinthians de Silvino returned unchanged for the second stage. On the other hand, Santos made two substitutions: Angelo and Lucas Braga in the place of Gabriel Pierani and Madson.
Everything changed three minutes into the second half. Gabriel found Pereira Du Queiroz, who only turned out to be Jô. On a nice pivotal turn, the 77’s shirt turned and kicked without João Paulo having a chance to open the scoreboard at the Neo Química Arena.
After the goal, Faithful got even crazier and continued to push Corinthians into the match. With good passes in attack, Timon made a serious mistake in his favour. On charges, Wagner stopped at the barrier.
Behind the scoreboard and in control of most of the match, Santos changed his stance and began to enter the offensive field with good moves from Angelo and Lucas Braga. In the 12th minute, Diego Tardelli came from a distance, but the ball passed over Cassio’s goal.
In a one-man play by Tardelli, Santos began to freak out again. The striker went to the finish line and crossed, but the ball was not left to a fellow experienced player. In the rest, Camacho isolated.
In the 18th minute, Sylvinho called William. The number 10 shirt has entered a vacant position by Gabriel Pereira. After seven matches, Phil applauded loudly for the player at the Neo Química Arena.
Despite Santos’ improvement in the match, as they changed their position, Corinthians remained comfortable in the match. Timão remained on the offensive field, but was not able to create as many chances as in the first half.
Within 25 minutes, Doe received a beautiful pass from Renato Augusto. Facing the area, the young defensive midfielder surrendered and saw Danilo Boza take the ball with the correct title. After that, the match was still fiercely contested in the midfield.
Five minutes later, Corinthians came close to scoring the second goal. Renato Augusto sheds light on Willian, who took control of Wagner. The 23rd jersey was captured by Danilo Pozza. Soon, the number 10 jersey received another one on the right side and won the corner.
With 33 minutes, de Queiroz left and Rooney entered his vacant place. The 29th shirt was subjected to a strong foul and received a yellow card at 37 of the second stage. With this, the player has been suspended and will not be able to play against Ciara.
After a fine break with Fagner, Jô found Roger Guedes who dribbled three times, but was unable to continue the movement. The ball was left to Renato Augusto, who hit it and watched the ball veer away from Felipe Jonatan.
In the corner, Corinthians scored his second goal. Renato Augusto’s cross, Joe supports it, and Gabriel scored another goal for Timao. Shirt 5 was very affected by the goal he scored.
After the second goal, Corinthians continued the attack. Roger kicked hard and saw Joao Paulo holding hands. Soon, Gustavo Mosquito took over the position of Joe, who was praised by more than 43,000 people at the New Quémica Arena.
