New Delhi | News Desk: The Indian government on Monday (November 15) announced that travelers from several European countries, including Great Britain, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe and Singapore, will have to follow additional measures. Since November 11, India has allowed non-segregated travel for citizens of 99 countries accrediting India’s Govt-19 vaccine certificates, as per the revised guidelines for international visits issued by the Ministry of Health.

“There are mutual countries and regulations recognizing Indian vaccination certificates, and India allows its citizens to travel without segregation,” the guidelines say.

China, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia are not on the list.

In addition, those from unlisted countries should be tested for Covit-19 upon arrival, followed by 7 days of isolation at home, and another test on the 8th day, regardless of vaccine status.

The government added that passengers who showed symptoms during the screening would be immediately isolated and taken to a medical center as per protocol.
