A symposium discussing the plurality of science in preserving the planet –

SEPESQI opens a space for the presentation of scientific, national and international works from various fields of knowledge. According to Thais de Abreu Lacerda – General Coordinator of SEPESQI, in 2020, even in the face of the uncertainties brought about by the pandemic, the team responsible for the academic management of the institutions saw a great opportunity in the transition of in-person activities to virtual ones and did not hesitate to implement the event by default. “In 2021, we are committed to once again promoting a large discussion forum focused on research and extension across 25 campuses, so that together we can build a conversational space for academic growth,” says Lacerda.

Among the guests from 2021 is Professor Dr. Uday Balbinot Jr. – General Coordinator for International Higher Education Affairs in the Directorate of Development of the Network of Federal Institutions of Higher Education of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Ministry of Higher Education. Prof. Dr. Myriam Pilar Grossi – Core Gender Identity and Self-Coordinator and Chair of UFSC Equity; Anderson Rangel – Operations Director, Centro Sul Regional of Estácio; Flavio Murilo Gouvêa – Director of Education at Estácio; and Caroline Lanzeri – NASA scientist, space researcher, and astronomer.
