1. Enable disappearing messages
Use the feature Messages It disappears to automatically delete all messages after a specified period of time, which is an excellent option for protecting privacy in sensitive conversations.
To activate, go to Settings > Privacy > Default message time and select the desired time.
2. Enable end-to-end encryption for backups
Also make sure that your backups are end-to-end encrypted. This adds an extra layer of security to your data.
In Settings > Chats > Chat Backup, turn on end-to-end encrypted backup.
3. Block secret chats
To ensure maximum privacy, lock certain conversations with a password, preventing unauthorized access to these messages. Open the desired chat, click on the contact name, select “Block chats” and confirm.
4. Silence calls from unknown numbers
Protect yourself from potential threats by silencing incoming calls from unknown numbers, which is an effective measure against potential identity theft attempts.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Calls and turn on Silence Unknown Callers.
5. IP protection on calls
Enhance privacy while CallsActivate the option to protect the IP address, which makes it difficult for hackers to track it. In Settings > Privacy > Calls > Advanced, enable “Protect IP address in calls.”
