A Russian raid killed three people after a missile hit a company headquarters in Ukraine’s northwestern Volyn region, according to local authorities. Several people were injured and taken to area hospitals.
In addition to Volyn, the Lviv region, in western Ukraine, was also the target of shelling during the early hours of Tuesday (15).
In Lviv, there were no reports of injuries. However, the government claimed that more than 100 homes were damaged. Ukrainian media said that this is the largest attack in the region since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022.
“Many rockets were shot down, but there were also attacks in Lviv,” said Lviv Mayor Andrei Sadovy.
The Ukrainian Air Force said it destroyed 16 Russian military artifacts overnight. But Russia fired at least 28 shots, according to Ukrainian forces.
In southwestern Ukraine, a person was injured in a Russian attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to the local government, the headquarters of a company caught fire after being attacked.
